Biography:

Dr. Victor Fries was a brilliant cryogenics scientist whose wife, Nora, contracted a terminal illness. Desperate to save her, Fries placed Nora in suspended animation using his experimental technology.

During an accident in his lab, Fries was exposed to cryogenic chemicals. This accident drastically lowered his body temperature, forcing him to wear a specialized suit to survive in temperatures below zero. He became unable to live in normal room temperature conditions.

Driven by his unwavering love for Nora and his relentless pursuit of a cure for her condition, Victor Fries adopted the persona of Mr. Freeze. He often resorts to criminal activity to fund his research and acquire the necessary resources to revive Nora.

Mr. Freeze is typically depicted as a tragic villain, motivated by love rather than malice. His cold demeanor and reliance on technology make him a formidable foe for Batman.
